About Grande Shores
Located at the northern end of Myrtle Beach, Grande Shores Ocean Resort offers the peace and quiet of the Golden Mile and close proximity to top attractions along The Strip. Originally built in 1974, Grande Shores has decades of experience hosting unforgettable family vacations. The updated state-of-the-art facilities feature comfortable lodging options, relaxing amenities, and direct access to the sandy shoreline.
Choose from one-, two-, and three-bedroom suites and rooms with oceanfront sights or ocean views. The one-bedroom oceanfront features two queen beds, a full kitchen, a sleeper sofa and Murphy bed, two TVs, and a private balcony. The three-bedroom oceanfront comes with two king beds, two double beds, a full kitchen, a washer and dryer, four TVs, and a private balcony. The ocean view two-room suite offers four queen beds, two full baths, and a kitchenette. Each unit has home-away-from-home amenities, including a refrigerator, iron and board, cable TV, radio, designer furniture, and free high-speed internet.
This resort features three pools, two lazy rivers, and five hot tubs across indoor and outdoor decks. Lounge chairs are located on each pool deck making it easy to catch some rays with your sweetheart or watch the kids as they splash and play. You won’t even have to leave property for dinner or a relaxing cocktail. The Shoreline Café serves American specialties for breakfast and dinner, and Poolside Bar & Grill has you covered for lunch and snacks.
The summer months offer hours of entertainment for young visitors with the on-site children’s program with organized seashell hunts, games, and crafts. I stayed for the weekend with family. I enjoyed being on the 7th floor where the lazy river, Jacuzzi and pools were located. Price was reasonable for all the amenities available.

Our Home Away from Home
We have stayed at Grande Shores Resort many times. We stayed at a couple of other resorts years ago, but then we returned to Grande Shores. There is just no comparison. Not only are the accommodations and service great each year, but during the off seasons, the resort is constantly working to keep everything in great repair and to update the property. We look forward to seeing the improvements each time we visit. We love the location (right next to a residential neighborhood where you can take quiet evening walks) and we especially love the Seventh Floor Pool Deck and having the Shoreline Cafe right there on the property. Once you arrive at Grande Shores, there is no need to leave the resort until it is time to go home!
