About King Street Grille
This small regional chain of sports bars/restaurants was founded in nearby Charleston in the downtown district on, you guessed it, King Street. The third franchise opened at The Market Common and became an instant hit among locals looking for a slightly more upscale version of a sports pub. There is now also a second location on the Grand Strand, which sits waterfront on the salt marsh in Murrells Inlet, next to the Hot Fish Club.
King Street Grille Food
Sure, King Street has all the “sports grub” staples one would expect. The King’s Wings are famous, featuring unique flavors like Sweet Tea, Honey Mustard and Bacon, Thai Peanut and Old Bay, just to name a few of the 20-plus sauce options.
The burgers are also popular picks, featuring the Texas Heart Stopper with a ton of toppings and a fried egg atop Texas toast. The Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls and Sliders loaded with bacon, cheese and grilled onions. But those with more sophisticated tastes have a wide array of salads, wraps and starters to choose from, and top entrees like the Asiago-Crusted Filet or the Charleston-Fried Chicken stuffed with crab meat and ham bring people back for seconds.
King Street Grille Atmosphere
King Street Grille fits right into the Market Common neighborhood, giving visitors a casual sports-bar option in an upscale shopping district. Guests can sit outside on the patio deck, in the dining room or at the bar without missing any of the action on the many TVs scattered throughout the establishment.
