About Diamond Back at Woodland Valley Country Club
The Diamondback golf course was designed and built by Russell Breeden in 1999, giving Woodland Valley Country Club an 18-hole layout that permits public play. Set in the Lowcountry woodlands of Loris, South Carolina, the Diamondback course features strategically placed bunkers and lakes to allow for a fun and challenging round of golf. This public golf course is conveniently located on S.C. Highway 9, just minutes from North Myrtle Beach and many of the area’s best attractions and accommodations. Diamondback was the first course in the Myrtle Beach area to feature Jensen Ultradwarf greens that allow for easy putting—a relief after traversing the narrow, wooded fairways and other hazards that make Diamondback at Woodland Valley a true test of golf in a beautiful, natural setting.
