About Barefoot Resort & Golf – Fazio Course
The Fazio course at Barefoot Resort is one of the most renowned golf courses on the Grand Strand for players who enjoy a challenge and gorgeous scenery. The course was designed by Tom Fazio—voted by Golf Course News as “Golf Course Architect of the Year” five years in a row—on a rolling parcel of land at the heart of Barefoot Resort, with lovely, meticulously manicured holes that are pleasant to play. Off the tees, golfers are greeted with stunning visuals and 18 distinct holes. The Fazio golf course traverses the natural sand dunes and Lowcountry forest which surrounds Barefoot Resort, with fairways of GN-1, a hybrid turf, which evolves into TifSport Bermuda grass on the approaches and A-1 bentgrass on the course’s greens.
