About Moe Moon’s
Located on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk right at Plyler Park near the Skywheel in downtown, Moe Moon’s is a surf-themed “beach grill & chill” that offers a great place to grab lunch, dinner or just sit and relax with a few drinks.
Known as Marvin’s Food & Games for decades, this funky corner restaurant specializes in providing quality American cuisine such as big burgers, huge hot dogs and meaty chicken wings as well as tons of great sandwiches, salads, appetizers and dishes with southern flair.
This beachy bar and grill also draws from a variety of culinary influences, giving diners anIsland vibe with lots of great seafood options, a bit Mexican fusion with a selection of tacos and carnitas and even a touch of class with top-notch entrees such as ribeye steak, babyback ribs and grilled chicken.
Taking a cue from its mascot — the infamous beach bum Moe Moon described as “the life of every party” — this fun and friendly hangout provides a great atmsophere for kicking back and relaxing with a few drinks or hanging out and enjoy happy hour deals. There’s a huge tiki bar inside, house-concocted cocktails that are always ready to serve and a great selection of beer and wine as well.
Outside, you’ll get much the same vibe (but with an even better view!) as you sit on the patio at tables designed with colorful surf art and watch the colorful crowds of visitors enjoying the boardwalk and beach.
Overall, Moe Moon’s is a great spot for local, tourists and anyone who wants to feel like a “Native son” of the Grand Strand’s beach bum lifestyle.
