The Restaurant

After earning a solid reputation with its first store on the downtown Myrtle Beach oceanfront, Sharkey’s has branched out with a new location in Broadway at the Beach. Both offer similar menus but feature completely different scenes.

The Food

Sharkey’s serves primarily as bar for regular customers, especially the beachfront location. This place is off the hook in the summertime with beach volleyball games and thirsty sunbathers hitting the bar, but Sharkey’s also offers a full menu of excellent seafood, sandwiches and starters. Feast on crab legs steamed in Old Bay and beer or peel-and-eat shrimp swimming in cocktail sauce and drawn butter while enjoying the ocean view. Chomp into a thick juicy burger with your choice of toppings or a Shrimp and Oyster Po Boy with a spicy tartar sauce. Perhaps the best grub can be found on the appetizer menu, like Sharkey’s famous chicken wings, fried shrimp basket and fish tacos. Liquid refreshments are what Sharkey’s does best so order a frozen drink from the blender, a cold draft beer or a cocktail and unwind.

The Atmosphere

Sharkey’s is all about the party. Whether it’s the beach crowd hanging out on the oceanfront patio at the downtown location or the party types hitting the bars at Broadway at the Beach, Sharkey’s is sure to show its guests a good time. Live music and happy hour attracts nice crowds.
