Best Carolina-Style BBQ Restaurants in Myrtle Beach
When we Carolinians say “BBQ,” we’re usually talking about slow-cooked pork, shredded or sliced, and topped with one of a few sauces. Vinegar sauce is an Eastern North Carolina tradition with fans throughout the Carolinas, and South Carolina is famous for its mustard-based Carolina Gold Sauce. (Check out our Carolina-style BBQ guide for more on this)
Since there’s always some confusion about what BBQ means to Myrtle Beach visitors, we decided to break the BBQ category down to Carolina-style BBQ and BBQ such as ribs and barbecue chicken.
Check out this list of the best Carolina-style BBQ restaurants in Myrtle Beach. For the type of BBQ that non-Carolinians generally consider to be BBQ, check out our separate list of the best BBQ restaurants.
