Skyscraper thrill ride comes to Myrtle Beach

National Amusement Rides has announced its newest addition to the Grand Strand amusement scene: the Skyscraper Thrill Ride.

The company calls the Skyscraper the “fastest, most exhilarating extreme ride in the world.” Located on Ocean Boulevard at 3rd Avenue South next to Family Kingdom, the attraction offers riders the chance to experience g-forces force comparable to a jet, as the ride whips its riders 170 feet in the air at up to 60 miles per hour.

The Skyscraper debuted this past weekend, and is now the second thrill ride in the area by National Amusement Rides; its signature attraction, The Slingshot, operates 15 blocks north on Ocean Boulevard.
