About Dunes Golf & Beach Club
Dunes Golf and Beach Club is the second-oldest golf course in Myrtle Beach, continually rated second-to-none when it comes to the immersive golf experience. Opened in 1949, the legendary Dunes Club still checks in as the Number One Golf Course in Myrtle Beach by Golf Digest, Golf Magazine, and Golfweek. This Grand Strand delight also made the “100 Greatest Courses in the US” list by Golf Magazine (1993–2001) and “America’s 100 Best Classical Courses” by Golfweek/Golf & Travel (1997–Present). Dunes features a classic layout as well as A-1 bentgrass greens that make play fast and smooth. Experience the famous par 5 No. 13 hole—aptly nicknamed “Waterloo ” for its risky bend around Lake Singleton—and a dogleg par 5 that has gained recognition as a favorite hole to play. This Myrtle Beach golf course has hosted six Senior PGA Tour Championships, a Women’s US Open, and several finals of PGA Tour Q-School, as well as the PGA National Professional Championship. The Dunes Golf and Beach Club is a must-play course for every golfer who has the privilege to book a tee time.
