With hundreds of accommodations to choose from on the Grand Strand and with so many of them offering great amenities, it can be hard to decide which to book for your Myrtle Beach vacation. To help provide some public feedback and help you make your decision, we asked our loyal Facebook fans which hotels at the beach have the best amenities. After receiving feedback from our followers, we tallied up the responses. Here were the final results.
1. North Beach Resort & Villas

The people have spoken, and North Beach Resort & Villas is the hotel in Myrtle Beach with the best amenities. This comes as no surprise considering North Beach is the most luxurious resort on the Grand Strand. There are many world-class amenities at the resort, but the amenities our Facebook followers mentioned as favorites are the pool deck, swim-up pool bar, beautiful ocean views, and the excellent parking garage they have on their grounds.

Compass Cove Resort has a lot to rave about. The resort offers unlimited DVD rentals, a giant chess and checkers set, shuffleboard, a game room, laundry facilities, a 24-hour fitness center, a business center, a gift shop, a summer kid’s club, an extensive pool deck with tons of pools and water features, and even a tiki bar. While all of these amenities are great, the Facebook followers most enjoyed the convenient location and beautiful ocean views from their rooms.

If water fun is your thing, then Dunes Village has some of the best amenities for you. Water amenities at the oceanfront resort range from an indoor waterpark (a combined 30,000 square feet!) to a 250 foot lazy river. You can get some sun on the outdoor pool deck or sip on a cool cocktail at the pool-side bar or Cabana Tiki Bar. Extras at the resort include seasonal kids’ activities, basketball, on-site mini golf, foosball, pool tables, hockey, shuffleboard and tennis. Diners have a great list of on-site options like Admiral’s Room Restaurant and Captain’s Café. The unanimous fan favorite of the amenities though was the on-site Starbucks.

Amenities are plentiful at Dayton House, with popular amenities including the free breakfast, pools and whirlpools, lazy river, fitness center, private balconies, and kitchenettes in each room. The huge oceanfront lounge yard though is one of the standout amenities and was the one that received the most praise from our followers. The oceanfront lawn is equipped with reclining chairs and personal umbrellas and is the perfect place to relax on a vacation.

In addition to the pool deck, the resort offers an indoor pool, an oceanfront lawn and picnic area, a fitness center, onsite dining, a Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream, cornhole and giant chessboards, and more. The favorite amenity mentioned by fans however is the private balconies and great ocean views.

Coral Beach Resort and Suites offers endless amenities and a convenient location. The resort has a large outdoor water park, indoor and outdoor pools, bubbling spas, The Entertainment Zone with arcade games, and the only resort bowling alley in Myrtle Beach. The bowling alley is a stand-out amenity and one of the fan favorites. Others mentioned by followers include the fitness center, gift shop, parking garage, outdoor bar, onsite dining, and occasional live music.

In addition to its proximity to some of the most popular attractions, guests can enjoy a lazy river, indoor and outdoor pools, a kiddie pool, a hot tub, a fitness center, and onsite dining. Our followers also love the great ocean views they get from their rooms.
