About Intracoastal Christmas Regatta
Get into the holiday spirit with the best parade on the water! Yachts and boats covered in Christmas lights and decorations will make their way past plenty of prime viewing spots in this annual flotilla.
The Intracoastal Christmas Regatta is always held the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The parade begins around 5 p.m. at the Little River Inlet and winds south to Dock Holidays Marina by 7 p.m.
Spectators can catch the regatta at many points along the waterway. Best viewing spots are:
- Grand Harbour Marina
- Key West Crazy
- Crab Catchers
- Cricket Cove Marina
- Snooky’s
- Myrtle Beach Yacht Club
- Officer’s Club
- Cherry Grove Marina
- Captain Archie’s
- Filet’s
- Boardwalk Billy’s
In addition to being a festive kickoff to the holiday season, the Intracoastal Christmas Regatta is also a fundraiser. Toy and/or monetary donations can be made to Yachts for Tot to provide Christmas presents and other needs for children in the area.
Spectators are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to Harbourgate Marina or collection points around Little River and North Myrtle Beach. Cat litter and pet food donations are also accepted to benefit the North Myrtle Beach Humane Society.
Boaters can compete for prizes by being creative and colorful in decorating their vessels. Visit the website to enter your boat in the parade.
