Memorial Day Weekend Events 2022
There are plenty of events in Myrtle Beach this Memorial Day Weekend for the entire family to enjoy. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, was a military town for nearly 50 years. It was originally home to the U.S. Army Air Corps in the 1940s and then became the Myrtle Beach Air Force Base in the 1950s. The base closed in 1993 and has since been transformed into the Market Common district that many today love.Â
This Memorial Day Weekend, we will celebrate Myrtle Beaches’ past and those who serve our country with military appreciation events, parades, and 5ks.
