Cap’n Rods Lowcountry Tours in Georgetown offers unique guided tours of the beautiful wtares of Georgetown Harbor and Winyah Bay as well as the unspoiled natural setting of barrier islands, historic plantations and more. The popular four-hour Light House Island Shell Tour takes you to North Island when you can find many beautiful shells, interact with Mother Nature and have a chance to see wildlife including dolphins, alligators, bald eagles and much more! Tours depart six days a week at low tide and cost $35 for adults or $30 for children ages 4 to 12 (3 and younger are free).
