The Hermitage

The Hermitage is a luxurious waterfront gated community located in Murrells Inlet. This beautiful neighborhood is located off of Highway 17, which provides direct access to the rest of the Grand Strand.

Residents can easily travel to areas such as Pawleys Island, Georgetown, Myrtle Beach, and North Myrtle Beach via this route. The Murrells Inlet area is rich in beauty and is known for exceptional dining.

Just down the road, residents of The Hermitage can visit the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, which is home to award-winning dining, watersports, bars, and live music. The Murrells Inlet area also has schools, hospitals, doctors’ offices, grocery stores, gas stations, and much more.

The homes at The Hermitage were designed to look like historic homes with large live oak trees. Those that are directly on the water boast several acres of land and upgrades like elevators, Italian marble, private pools, boat docks, sculpture gardens, fountains, and more. While the original Hermitage was built in 1848, most of these homes were built in the 90’s and early 2000’s.
