The Simpsons’ Kwik-E-Mart Now Open in Myrtle Beach
Broadway at the Beach is now home to a brand new attraction that all The Simpsons fans will love.
The Kwik-E-Mart is everything one would imagine — a replica of the convenience store famous from the longest-running primetime scripted show in television history.
This attraction, which opened on August 17, is chock-full of memorabilia from the show, as well as real-life versions of cartoon treats like Lard Lad Donuts, Buzz Sodas, Squishees, and Heat Lamp Hot Dogs.
Those visiting will have a blast reliving memories from celebrated Simpsons episodes with nods to favorite characters like Homer and Bart, as well as more obscure references like the Mr. Sparkle figurine that’s for sale and the ice cream freezer that says “Behold Frostilicus.”
The Kwik-E-Mart is just one half of this new Simpsons attraction at Broadway at the Beach, as a 4D theatre is also set to open right next door in the near future. The Simpsons in 4D will be a first-of-its-kind experience, set in a replica of Springfield’s Aztec Theater. Guests to the theater will enjoy a fully immersive themed universe where Simpsons’ characters will come to life.
This special attraction has been years in the making by Toronto-based SimEx-Iwerks Entertainment through partnerships with FoxNext Destinations and Gracie Films.
There is no set date as to when the 4D theater will be open, but it will be a ticketed attraction that all Simpsons fans are sure to love.
